Boogie competition - 12 days left - FULL SPEED RHYTHM CHOPS
Running out of time… Even this rhythm clip is pretty much as fast as possible so I call it FULL SPEED.... The problem I need to face in the next 12 days is that I obviously can't play everything I want to play that fast. As a guitarslinger on Highway 101, I tricked my competition by making the rhythm slower, but still really fast. This would lull them into a false sense of confidence until I started doubling, and then quadrupling. I would love to start out the improvisational boogie at full speed, like this one and then keep that speed even through the various techniques. If I were to do that, then it would limit what I can do musically, which may be okay. I can go full speed straight through with a short slower ending segment, or I will go normal fast speed, and the end go to full speed for the finale....either way I need to choose quick. :-)

Boogie Challenge Guidelines: Tommy Emmanuele's fastest boogie video will be used in an A/B comparison to an original guitar boogie that I have been challenged to complete in a couple of weeks. The video must be OBJECTIVELY comparable to Tommy's with comparisons between the two full 2 minutes boogies, as well as short segments side by side at the same volume.
